About ETCC 1300

ETCC 1300 is a series of individual races on international circuits for historic cars with engine capacity up to 1300 cm3. ETCC 1300 is an initiative of the HARC in cooperation with the Kampf der Zwerge. This is a German organization that has organized races for cars with small engines for many years. A first pilot race will take place in September 2022 during the first Classic GP at Assen.

In ETCC 1300 we will give the small cars the main role! We would like to see the cars of the past in action again, such as the Alfa Giulietta and Alfasud, Austin A35 and A40, Autobianchi A112, Fiat Abarth, Fiat 127 and 128, Ford Anglia, Mini Cooper, NSU TT, Renault Dauphine and 8 and of course the small GT's, think of the Honda S800, Triumph Spitfire, Alpine A110, Lotus Elite, Matra Djet, Turner BMC and last but not least the MG Midget and the Austin Healey Sprite.

The premise of ETCC 1300 is approachable and affordable racing. Standard or modified are both allowed, provided the car's specification is historically correct, in accordance with FIA homologation. We strive for every participant to have a Car Pass or Historic Technical Passport with their car. The goal is to have equivalent cars competing with each other. ETCC 1300 is open to touring cars and GT's up to and including 1976, in FIA terms these are the periods E, F, G and H. In addition, there is room for post-historic cars, up to 1990, in a special invitational class. In addition to year of manufacture, we apply two cylinder capacity classes: up to 1150 cm3 and 1150-1300 cm3.

The safety equipment of all participating cars must of course meet today's requirements. Therefore, all cars must be equipped with an approved roll cage, fire extinguisher, 5-point harness and racing seat. The driver is required to wear FIA approved clothing.
